2.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Unbind is designed with your privacy in mind. All your personal data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. This includes:

• Onboarding completion status
• Your journey progress (current day, streak count)
• Morning and evening check-in history
• Inner weather selections
• Release session records (body location, feeling quality, protection layer)
• Daily seed preferences

This data is stored using Apple's UserDefaults system on your iPhone and never leaves your device. We do not have access to this information.

2.2 Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or contact information
• Location data
• Health data
• Photos or media
• Contacts
• Browsing history
• Any personally identifiable information (PII)

2.3 Account Information

Unbind does not require user registration or login. There are no user accounts, passwords, or profiles stored on our servers.

2.4 Analytics Data

We may use anonymous, aggregated analytics services (such as Mixpanel) to understand how users interact with the App. This data is:

• Completely anonymous and cannot identify you personally
• Used solely to improve the App experience
• Limited to general usage patterns (e.g., which features are most popular)

You may opt out of analytics collection in the App settings where available.

2.5 Subscription and Payment Information

If you subscribe to Unbind Premium, all payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for information on how Apple handles your payment data.

3. How We Use Information

Since we do not collect personal information, we do not use your data for marketing, advertising, or third-party sharing. The anonymous analytics data we may collect is used solely to:

• Improve App functionality and user experience
• Identify and fix bugs
• Understand which features are most valuable to users

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to third parties. Since all your data is stored locally on your device, we have no access to share.

The only exceptions are:

• Apple: Handles subscription payments through the App Store
• Anonymous Analytics: Aggregated, non-identifying usage data may be processed by analytics providers

5. Data Security

Your data is protected by:

• Local Storage: All personal data stays on your device
• Apple's Security: Your device's built-in encryption and security measures protect your locally stored data
• No Transmission: Since we don't collect your data, there's no risk of server breaches affecting your personal information

6. Data Retention

All data is stored on your device for as long as you have the App installed. When you delete the App, all locally stored data is permanently removed from your device.

7. Children's Privacy

Unbind is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at jgh@mediavikings.dk.

8. Your Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable laws, you have the right to:

• Access: Since all data is on your device, you have full access to it
• Delete: Delete the App to remove all locally stored data
• Portability: Your data exists only on your device
• Object: Opt out of analytics in App settings where available

Since we don't collect personal data on our servers, most data subject requests are fulfilled automatically by the local storage design.

9. International Users

Unbind is operated from Denmark, European Union. If you use the App from outside the EU, please note that any anonymous analytics data may be processed in accordance with EU data protection standards (GDPR).

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
